Oasis of Hope is a faith based non-profit maternity home that provides a supportive home for young pregnant teenagers who are homeless and needs a clean  safe, nurturing environment where they can receive the care, resources and guidance that they need during this pivotal time in their lives. At Oasis of Hope, they will be taught how to care for themselves and their babies and will be given the opportunity to further their education and career goals.

You must be a young pregnant homeless teenager between the ages of 13 to 19. You must be planning to carry the pregnancy to term and choosing to either parent the child or place the child up for adoption. Any young pregnant teenager is eligible to apply for our program regardless of their colour, race, creed, faith and immigration status.

Majority of the time there is a waiting list, but the length of the time varies. Please contact us for further information about our wait times.

We are in the Brantford, Ontario area and are open to applicants from anywhere.

The young pregnant female can come in at any time during her pregnancy and is allowed to stay until her baby is up to 24 months old. They can apply for subsidized housing after their baby is born so that they are able to have a smoother transition when it is time for them to leave our program.

We do not charge for admission to our program. We provide for your basic needs, including food and clothing for both you and your baby. If you are eligible for Ontario Works and ODSP they will deduct a mandatory shelter fee from your Ontario Works/ODSP allowance once you are admitted to our program. Counseling Services will be provided free of cost while you are a resident at Oasis of Hope.

For the health and well- being of the population that we serve, we are a smoke -free facility and that includes vaping and therefore smoking is not allowed on or near the premises.

Yes, we are a faith-based residential home. We have daily devotions and weekly bible study gatherings. Residents are encouraged and is expected to take part in our programs during their stay here.
